Best Restaurants in Sedona

Sedona is known for beautiful red rocks and hiking, but it is also home to a ton of amazing restaurants! From vegan and gluten-free options to award winning Mexican, here is my list of best restaurants in Sedona!

Breakfast

Coffee Pot Restaurant sign in Sedona, Arizona

Making a stop at The Coffee Pot Restaurant for breakfast is a MUST while visiting Sedona. They have over 100 omelettes and a cute little patio to enjoy your breakfast on. This place is popular so there may be a little bit of a wait, but it is worth it. I also highly recommend purchasing one of their square mugs from the gift shop. I purchased one several years ago and it is still my favorite mug.

The parking lot is tight here. Be patient as you wait for others to back out of their spot, or simply park in the Safeway parking lot nearby.

If you're looking for a healthier option in Sedona that'll leave you energized, definitely check out the ChocolaTree Organic Eatery. They have indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by beautiful lush greenery. They offer vegetarian options as well as dishes that are gluten-free and processed-sugar-free. Everything they serve is also 100% organic and homemade.

This is a great spot for lunch as well!

This local juice shop offers so much more beyond just delicious pressed juice. Their family-owned juice shop also offers health food items like avocado toast, fruit bowls, smoothies, and more. Their products are all locally sourced, 100% organic, have no processed sugar and are vegan friendly.

A traditional little breakfast spot with a menu ranging from omelettes to waffles to a 3-pound cinnamon roll! I opted for some breakfast oats and did not get the cinnamon roll when I visited, but it looked amazing and a ton of people sitting around us ordered it.

This is a great spot to visit after you’ve done a sunrise hike, because it is centrally located to some of the most iconic hikes in Sedona like Bell Rock.

Lunch

Wildflower Bread Company is a great lunch option where they have soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, and amazing homemade bread. Plus, they have a giant outdoor patio so you can overlook the beautiful red rocks while you eat. It is truly a stunning and affordable lunch spot.

If you want a classic, Mexican lunch, Tortas de Fuego is your spot. This quick and casual Mexican restaurant serves tacos, tostadas and other traditional food in an intimate setting right in the center of Sedona. This is a great lunch spot if you're short on time. I also recommend going there for dinner if you can't make lunch.

Dinner

The Hudson is one of my favorite restaurants ever. It has a beautiful patio overlooking the red rocks, delicious cocktails, and amazing food. The menu ranges from chopped salads, burgers, fish, chicken, ribs and steak. I recommend the blackened swordfish, which is 10/10. They also offer happy hour. It is a little pricey but worth it! Make a reservation in advanced because they book up fast. Try and get a patio spot for golden hour.

SaltRock has some of the best margaritas I've ever had. The restaurant is located within the Amara Resort and Spa, and overlooks the Snoopy Rock -- a red rock formation that looks like snoopy! I recommend making a reservation for their patio, which is their most popular seating area, well in advanced. Plus, if you have a reservation, the hotel will valet your car for free. My favorite things to order there: a margarita, grilled corn, and the cauliflower tacos.

Elote Cafe is award-winning and one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever! They have the BEST margaritas so I highly recommend you get one -- or two! In the past, I've waited three hours just to eat dinner here because it is that good, but they now have a reservation system which makes it much easier. They allow reservations 60-days in advanced so definitely book as soon as you can because they fill up fast.

My favorite must-order items: Margarita, Elote, Grilled Halibut.

Inside of an Italian restaurant

A bit of a different vibe compared to the other restaurants I’ve recommended, but if you're looking for something other than Mexican, I recommend stopping by Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante for an Italian night. It is very romantic inside and a great spot for a date night. It was actually recently rated one of the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the US by OpenTable! You can't go wrong with any of their homemade pastas, and they have the best tiramisu!
